HEALTH & SAFETY
Our Health & Safety training course gives trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in health and safety for managers and supervisors. It provides trainees with the competence to take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their work and to co-operate with their employer in order to comply with their duties under health and safety legislation.
AED & CPR
Using the latest ZOLL AED 3 Defibrillator, this training course covers preparing for and performing external defibrillation on an individual in order to establish an effective cardiac rhythm. This covers setting up and operating automated external defibrillation equipment. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
FIRST AID
Our First Aid Training gives trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in administering first aid effectively in line with current practices. It introduces trainees to the application of first aid in emergency situations and to respond promptly and appropriately to a range of situations and incidents in order to preserve life and protect casualties until specialist aid is available.
FIRE SAFETY
This training course aims to give trainees basic knowledge and understanding in fire marshall, identifying and reporting fire hazards and risks, and fire prevention.
TRAIN THE TRAINER
This course is for those who plan, deliver and evaluate training and learning activities for individuals or groups under guidance or instructions. This course is about planning and delivering training and learning activities to complement, reinforce or extend training and learning planned and delivered by the trainer. It also involves monitoring and providing feedback on learner participation and progress, and evaluating your own contribution to the learning activity.
PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
This training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in administering first aid effectively to children and infants in line with current practices and meets Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements. This one-day Paediatric Emergency First Aid training course is designed for people who care for infants and children, including day nurseries, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children, child minders, nannies and careers of children at home. It introduces trainees to the application of first aid to children and infants in emergency situations and to respond promptly and appropriately to a range of situations and incidents in order to preserve life and protect casualties until specialist aid is available.
